DAY 1 : GUWAHATI TO KAZIRANGA /195 KMT–3-4HRS DRIVES
On arrival at Guwahati airport you will be received by our driver whowill assit you to board your vehicle to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”. Check in pre-booked hotel/resort. If you get time you can do Elephant safari. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
DAY 2 : KAZIRANGA–BOMDILA(202KMS/ 4-5HRS. DRIVE).
After breakfast explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on by Jeep Safari. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. And transfer to Bomdila via Bhalukpong Arunachal Pradesh entry gate, Overnight stay at Bomdila.
DAY 3 : TRANSFER TO TAWANG.
After breakfast you can visit Lower Gompa Bomdila, Craft Centre & Ethnographic Museum, visit the Bomdila Monastery Inaugurated in 1965, this abode to Buddhist monks and Lamas is the biggest attraction in Bomdila. The monastery is also believed to be an exact replica of Tsona Gontse Monastery, Bomdila Viewpoint, Clouds kissing the ground, the massive Himalayas towering all around, the panoramic view of the Kemeng Valley- not a single one of the will let you down. The view from up here is sure to take up a permanent space in your memory and its beauty will be unforgettable. On arrival check inn hotel. Overnight stay at Tawang.
DAY 4 : EXCURSION TO BUMLA PASS.
After breakfast, Visit Bumla Pass China Border and Seget sar Lake(Madhuri Lake) & PTSO Lake -day excursion. Return to Tawang in the evening. Overnight stay ataman. (Bumla Pass visit by local cab, Extra cost@5,000–6,000withpermit) Note: Only Indian Citizens are permitted to visit & the use of local vehicles is mandatory as per the transport & tourism rules of Arunachal Pradesh. Subject to permission by the authorities of the Indian Army. And if no permission is granted due to bad weather/army movement then it’s not refundable. Evening visit the Tawang War Memorial and enjoy the light and sound show. Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Tawang.
DAY 5 : TAWANG FULL DAY LOCAL SIGHTSEEING.
After breakfast proceed for Tawang full day sightseeing. Visit the monasteries, the craft center, the war memorial, Ani Gompa and the local market during the day. Overnight stay at Tawang.
DAY 6 : TAWANG–DIRANG.
After breakfast proceed to return enroute drive past the Sela Pass at 13,700 ft. - the second highest motorable road in India. Stop at Jaswant Garh to pay homage to the brave soldiers of the 1962 Indo-Chinese aggression. Visit the Nuranang Waterfalls. On arrival check inn hotel and overnight stay at Dirang.
DAY 7 : DIRANG–TEZPUR–190KMT.–4-5HRS.
After breakfast visit the Yak breeding farm, Sangti Valley, Apple orchard and drive to the plains of Assam and transfer to Tezpur. Evening on arrival check inn hotel and overnight stay at Tezpur.
DAY 8 : TRANSFER TO SHILLONG.
After breakfast check out your hotel and drive for Shillong. Shillong (4,900 ft.) and also called 'Scotland of the East". Enroute we see Umiam Lake, a majestic lake with its surroundings ylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening visit the local market & enjoy shopping on your own. Overnight stay at Shillong.
DAY 9 : SHILLONG–MAWLYNNONG&DAWAKIADVENTURE(85KMS/2HRS).
After breakfast proceeds for a memorable drive to Mawlynnong, around 3 hours journey cover around 90kms. Mawlynnong-best described as a veritable tropical paradise and a nature lover’s dream destination. Houses, each with a garden of flowers of exotic—orchids, birds-of-paradise, lilies, etc. all blooming profusely in every imaginable nook and cranny. Living root Bridge, which is also one of the most attraction, why tourist visit here. The back porch Ext ends by a hanging bridge and leads out to two sit-outs over the jungle. Proceed to Dawaki River & Tamabil Border. Dawaki Tamabil is one of the few road border crossings between India and Bangladesh. It is used mainly for coal transportation to Bangladesh. Dawaki Bridge is a suspension bridge over the Umngot river. It was constructed in 1932 by the British. Back to Hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.
DAY 10 : EXCURSION TO CHERRAPUNJEE AND TRANSFER TO GUWAHATI
After early morning breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. Visit Shillong peak and drive to Cherrapunjee. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong, enroute visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. And evening transfer to Guwahati. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
DAY 11 : GUWAHATI KAMAKHYA MANDIR DARSAN ,LOCAL SIGHTSEEING AND AIRPORTDROP
Early morning visit Kamakhya Temple, and back to hotel take breakfast and you can visit Umananda Temple, Kalakshetra and evening Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey with sweet memories of Assam & Arunachal Pradesh.
