DAY 1 : TRANSFER TO THIMPHU TOWN
On arrival at Paro Airport you will be received by our office executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Paro the Complete immigration formalities at Transfer to Thimphu Paro via sightseeing Like Paro Chu & Wang Chu River: Paro Chu and the Wang Chu rivers at chuzom up to Mt. Jhomolhari at the Tibetan border to the north. This picturesque region is one of the widest valleys in the kingdom and is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. Than continue your journey, at check-in your hotel at evening time visit Thimphu local town market by walk .overnight stay in Thimphu.
DAY 2 : SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF THIMPHU
After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Thimphu, which includes the following places of interest Folk Heritage Museum, Memorial Chorten, Kuensel Phodrang – World’s Largest Sitting Buddha Statue, Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo, BBS Tower – Provides a vantage point view of the Thimpu Valley, Royal Textile Academy & Museum, Trashichhodzong Fortress in Thimphu, Handicrafts Emporium. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
DAY 3 : TRANSFER TO PARO LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to Paro. The Paro valley extends from the confluence of the Paro Chhu and the Wang Chhu rivers at Chuzom upto Mt. Jomolhari at the Tibetan border to the North. This picturesque region is one of the widest valleys in the kingdom and is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. After check in your hotel, you would proceed for a sightseeing tour of Paro which would include the following places Drukgyel Dzong – Ruins of an old fortress in Paro, Kyichu Lakhang – Famous Monastery in Paro, Ta Dzong – National Musuem of Bhutan, Overnight stay in Paro.
DAY 4 : EXCURSION TO TAKTSANG MONASTERY OR HAA VALLEY VIEW
After breakfast, proceed toward Taktsang monastery, Paro Taktsang also known as the Tiger's Nest where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days and three hours in the 8th century. Padmasambhava is credited with introducing Buddhism to Bhutan and is the tutelary deity of the country. Overnight stay in Paro. (OR) After breakfasts, proceeds for a day excursion to Chele La pass (12,200f) - The highest motor able point in Bhutan. On a clear day one can get a breath-taking view of Mt.Jhomolhari (23,996 ft the second highest peak of Bhutan) and other Himalayan giants & Haa valley view & Airport view point. Overnight Stay in Paro.
DAY 5 : PARO TO PARO AIRPORT
After breakfast at hotel transfer to Paro Airport for your onward journey. As you go home let the everlasting memory of the radiant Himalayas and this beautiful serene kingdom linger in your mind and prompt you now and again to revisit this place.
